Two years ago today, Tim Cook stated that Apple would "double down on secrecy". Since then there have been many claims that he has failed. Leaks of various devices, from the iPad Mini to the iPhone 5S and it's TouchID sensor. But when it comes to WWDC, Cook has done a remarkable job on keeping Apple's secrets under wraps.
Both this year and last, we've approached WWDC with very little idea of what we can expect. Outside of vague discriptions of UI refreshes for iOS 7 and now OSX 10.10 we've mostly gone into the event unprepared. And it's refreshing to be properly surprised by Apple again. I for one couldn't be more excited.
